Fraser-Pryce Expected To Return Quickly After Injury

A medical examination revealed that the injury is less severe than feared

Jamaican superstar Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce will be able to compete because her injury isn’t severe. She sustained an injury while competing at the World Athletics Championships yesterday.
The five-time world 100 metres champion was representing Jamaica in the women’s 4x100m final. The tournament happened in Budapest, Hungary.
The Jamaican quartet recorded a season’s best 41.21 seconds. This performance earned the Caribbean nation a silver medal. Fraser-Pryce’s teammates were forced to postpone their celebrations in order to attend to her injury.
According to reports in the media, the star is expected to recover without complications. Fraser-Pryce underwent numerous medical examinations that revealed that the injury is less severe than feared.
Fraser-Pryce began her season in July after she was forced out by another injury in May.
According to Jamaican authorities, the sprinter has already begun treatment and she is in good spirits.
The legendary sprinter now has 16 World Championships medals after her latest 4×100 silver medal.
