Jamaica and New Zealand Reveal Squads Ahead of Saturday’s Rugby WC Clash

The Saturday match will be the second World Cup game to go down at the MKM stadium

This weekend, the Rugby League World Cup is set to return to the scene with the venue being in Hull city. Newcomers Jamaica are set to meet New Zealand on Saturday in a Group C fixture. The game’s tickets are available online.
The Jamaican team under head coach Jermaine Coleman features some well-known players such as Michael Lawrence, Ben Jones-Bishop and Ashton Goulding. The New Zealand team under head coach Michael Maguire also features several superstars including Brandon Smith, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Joseph Manu.
New Zealand beat Lebanon 34-12 on Sunday at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in their first match of the tournament. On the other hand, Jamaica lost 48-2 to Ireland at Headingely on the same day.
The Saturday match will be the second World Cup game to go down at the MKM stadium, the first one being in 2013 when England played against Fiji. However, this will be New Zealand’s sixth match in the stadium.
The Jamaican 19-man squad consists of; Andrew Simpson, Chevaughn Bailey, Greg Johnson, Bradley Ho, Aaron Jones-Bishop, Keenan Tomlinson, Jordan Andrade, Ashton Goulding, Joel Farrell, AJ Wallace, Michael Lawrence, Khamsi McKain, Kieran Rush, James Woodburn-Hall, Alex Young, Jacob Ogden, Joe Brown, Mo Agoro and Ben Jones-Bishop.
The New Zealand 19-man squad consists of; Sebastian Kris, Scott Sorensen, Jeremy Marshall-King, Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, Issac Liu, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Briton Nikora, Nelson Asofa-Solomoa, Moses Leota, Kieran Foran, Kenneath Bromwich, Isaiah Papali’i, James Fisher-Harris, Brandon Smith, Jesse Bromwich, Dylan Brown, Peter Hiku, Marata Niukore and Joseph Manu.
