JFF Adds Dujuan Richards In The Boyz Squad

Jamaican fans have been calling for Richards to start as a striker because Shamar Nicholson has been struggling to score goals

The Jamaican Football Federation has announced some changes in the Reggae Boyz squad that will compete in the CONCACAF Nations League. This announcement as Jamaica is preparing face of against Haiti and Grenada.
Dujuan Richards has been added as one of the attacking options after Renaldo Cephas failed to travel because of flight challenges. According to close sources, Richards will also be a replacement for Michail Antonio. Coach Heimir Hallgrimsson is afraid that Antonio will only be fit enough to play one game.
The JFF also confirmed that Adrian Mariappa will miss out because of personal reasons. They also said that Javain Brown is nursing an injury that will keep him from competing in the two games.
Richards emerged as one of the Reggae Boyz’s best prospects when he scored in the recently-concluded Concacaf Gold Cup. The youngster became an instant fan-favorite because he is the youngest player to score in a competitive game.
Richards hasn’t been active because he was too young to be registered by his new team Chelsea FC. He will begin playing for the English club after this international break when he turns 18. He turned 18 on 11th October. He is expected to begin his Chelsea career in the development squad(under 21s) before moving into the main team.
