The team will begin their campaign on Saturday when they clash against Martinique. This will be followed by a match against Grenada on Monday
Jamaica will be represented by a 21-man squad in the qualifiers of the Under-20 Championships. The squad was announced by the Jamaica Football Federation.
The young Reggae Boyz players will be under the leadership of head coach John Wall. The team has been placed in Group F alongside Martinique, Grenada and Bermuda. The winner of this group will advance into the deeper part of the tournament.
John Wall’s team will begin their campaign on Saturday when they clash against Martinique. This will be followed by a match against Grenada on Monday. The qualifiers will be closed out on Wednesday with a match against Bermuda.
All matches are scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. The teams will be playing in the St Kitts and Nevis Football Association Technical Centre.
The Jamaican squad is made up of players who are based in Europe, United States and the local scene. The players have already travelled to St Kitts and Nevis.
The Jamaicans will use these qualifiers as a pathway to qualify for the FIFA Men’s Under-20 World Cup. This will be the second time that the Under-20s will qualify for the tournament since their debut in Argentina 2001.

Goalkeepers: Taywayne Lynch (Mount Pleasant FA), Joshua Grant (New York Red Bulls) and Akeem Bernard (Phoenix Academy).
Midfielders: Fabian Reynolds (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Makai Welch (Leyton Orient FC), Robino Gordon (Phoenix Academy), Brian Burkett (Dunbeholden FC), Alexander Bicknell (Leixoes FC), Denzel McKenzie (Phoenix Academy), Dunsting Cohen (Vere United) and Christopher Ainsworth (Cavalier SC).
Forwards: Tyrese Gowe (Dunbeholden FC), Nick Simmonds (Richmond Kickers FC) and Ashton Gordon (Atlanta United FC).
