Randy Brown Wins In UFC Fight Night 235

Brown said that he wants to break into the top 10 of the UFC welterweight division. He said that he wants to fight either Michael Chiesa or Neil Magny

Randy Brown secured a knockout victory against Muslim Salikhov in last weekend’s UFC Fight Night 235. This was the organization’s first event in February. The main event was built around middleweight contenders Roman Dolidze and Nassourdine Imavov. The event was staged at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Randy Brown was one of the fighters who received an extra $50,000 for delivering a “performance of the night” performance. These bonuses were also given to Azat Maksum, Charles Johnson and Molly McCann.
Molly McCann, Charles Johnson and Azat Maksum earned $50,000 UFC Fight Night 235 fight-night bonuses.
Brown, who has a record of 12-5 in the UFC, has established himself as a veteran in mixed martial arts. He made his debut in 2014. The former Ring of Combat Champion has won six of his last seven fights since April 2021.
Brown’s impressive record includes 12 finishes in his 18 career victories. Six of those stoppages happened in his 12 UFC wins.
Muslim Salikhov has lost five times in his career and four of those losses have come by stoppage.
Brown has Jamaican parents but he was born in Springfield, Massachusetts. He spent his childhood in Spanish Town after his mother as she was deported from the US. The veteran fighter returned to the US at the age of 16. He was also a student in Jamaica High School.
Brown told journalists that he is hoping to fight top contenders after his latest win.
Brown utilized his superior height, reach and athletic build to dominate his 39-year-old opponent. He landed a perfect 1-2 that sent Salikhov to the floor. He followed this up with two shots on the ground. This events happened in the first round.
There was thunderous echoes from the small crowd in attendance.
Brown said that he wants to break into the top 10 of the UFC welterweight division. He told the match-makers that he wants to fight either Michael Chiesa or Neil Magny in his next bout. He prefers Chiesa because they were meant to fight each other in the past.
He also went ahead to challenge the status quo. He criticized Chiesa and other fighters who sit on their rankings despite being inactive. He claimed that the UFC should always force fighters to defend their positions in the top 15 rankings. Neil Magny is currently ranked in 12th position while Michael Chiesa is in 14th position.
Randy Brown might be one of the fighters that will compete in the thrilling UFC 300.
