Nicholas Hamilton has signed a one-year deal with Finish second-division club FF Jaro. He impressed in a successful trial period that has allowed him to sign this contract. He expressed happiness that he is getting a chance to showcase his talent in the European market.
This move means that Hamilton’s contract with Harbour View has come to an end. He was an important player for the Jamaican Premier League team. He helped them win last season’s JPL title. He even contributed with six goals that have helped in this season’s title defense. Harbour View acquired his services in 2022.
This isn’t the first time that the attacking midfielder will be playing in Europe. In the 2021-2022 season, he had a stint with Scotland’s Dundee FC. The Jamaican has also played for York United, a team that competes in the Canadian Premier League. He has previously played for Holy Trinity High.
He is hoping to establish himself in Finland by scoring more goals. He revealed that he is aiming to score 15 goals in the coming season.
Hamilton said that he is hoping that his goals can help get FF Jaro promoted into the top division. However, he is also hoping to catch the eye of a bigger team if FF Jaro isn’t promoted.
Hamilton told journalists that he’s working hard in order to ensure his second chance in Europe doesn’t go to waste.
The Jamaican is known for his extraordinary goals, passing ability and silky dribbling skills. He has scored six goals in 16 games while playing for Harbour View in the current season.
