Scotiabank Sends Lucky Jamaican Fans to Watch World Cup in Qatar

The lucky winners got all sorts of goodies, including five-star luxury hotels for five days, round-trip tickets to Qatar and prize packages

Philippa Temple and Erica Gordon-Veitch are some of the Scotiabank customers who have been awarded with a trip to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The two customers were beneficiaries of a promotion known as the Scotiabank & Visa ‘ Fill Qatar with Passion.’
The lucky winners got all sorts of goodies, including five-star luxury hotels for five days, round-trip tickets to Qatar and prize packages. The high-class accommodation is worth over $13 million. The two Jamaicans will attend two quarterfinal matches.
According to Perrin Gayle, the Scotiabank Jamaica Executive Vice President, Retail & Small Business Banking, their bank is a big supporter of football at professional and youths levels. He revealed that Scotiabank has been rewarding with their loyal customers in partnership with Visa. He revealed that they will continue to reward their customers with dream vacations.
Gayle advised the lucky winners to this trip because it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Gordon-Veitch said that she was shocked to be one of the winners because she has never won anything before.
“It just didn’t seem real. And then this person is calling to say you won a trip to Qatar,” said Gordon-Veitch.
Temple and her husband are France supporters who are hoping to see the defending champions retain their title.
On the other hand, Gordon-Veitch is a Brazil fan who is hoping to see the Samba Boys in person. She hopes that the Brazilians will continue their streak as the most successful team of all time.
