With the Jamaica Boxing Association (JBA) looking to resume the sport, one item that is slated for the calendar is the “Gloves over Guns” initiative that could take place in the summer.
GC Foster College of Physical Education and Sport are entering into a partnership where the college will be retrofitted with a new ring and equipment.
President of the JBA Stephen “Bomber” Jones says with the government’s restrictions on Covid-19 now eased, they’re looking to restart the sport and with the help of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) the GC Foster College will be one of the new locations targeted.
