Reggae Boy Cole Reaches 14 Goals For The Season

Cole isn’t the only Reggae Boy who has been shining on the international scene. Leon Bailey has also been a standout performer for Aston Villa
Reggae Boy Devante Cole scored for Barnsley in their recent match against Wigan. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. This is the striker’s 14th goal of the season. The game happened on New Year’s Day. The two teams are competing in League One.
Reggae Boyz head coach Heimir Hallgrimsson called up the 28-year-old for a match that was held in November. Cole put his team ahead with a goal that came in the closing minutes of the first half. However, Jonny Smith scored a late equalizer after coming in as a second half substitute.
Barnsley are currently sat in the sixth position. They have gathered a total of 43 points; this means that they’re only eight points below league leaders Portsmouth. They are also riding a six-game unbeaten streak.
Cole’s goal was created courtesy of an Adam Phillips sublime pass. The ball fell kindly to the striker and he scored from an easy tap-in from close range. He proceeded to celebrate in front of the Barnsley fans in the Oakwell Stadium. The goal was a typical striker’s goal that brought memories of his famous father Andy Cole. Andy Cole is a retired striker who is remembered for scoring many goals for Sir Alex Fergusson’s Manchester United.
Cole has now scored two times in four days. His last goal came against Peterborough in last Friday’s 2-2 draw.
Barnsley’s hopes of grabbing three points were crushed when their opponents equalized in the 87th minute. Smith produced an unstoppable shot that was rifled from the edge of the box. Barnsley’s goalkeeper had no chance of stopping this effort.

Dujuan “Whisper” Richards is another talented Reggae Boy to look out for. He is expected to make a big splash in England after completing a move to giants Chelsea FC. He comes from the same camp as Leon Bailey.
